The amazing trip start from the holy city Lhasa by appreciating its prominent historical and religious sites like mystical Potala Palace, sacred Jokahng temple, sprawling Sera and Drepung monastery, your arrival to the holy city will be greeted by the lovely blue sky and impressive glimpse of gigantic Potala palace perched on the red hill, while during the couple of days acclimation and jet-lag alleviation, you will deeply overwhelmed by visiting numbers of world heritages and supernatural temples, bustling street around the Jokhang temple is one of the most devotional street known as Bakhor, it will also extend the way to Gyantse and Shigatse in the west, experience the distinct culture of western(Tsang) Tibet, by driving along the stunning turquoise color lake Yamdrok and blooming Nyenchen Kangsar glacier under the sunny plateau climate, you will never waste every single minute by discovering new experiences and wonders on the way to Gyantse and Shigatse.

6 DAYS CULTURAL ODYSSEY
DAY 01. ARRIVAL IN LHASA EITHER BY AIR OR TRAIN AND MEET WITH YOUR FELLOW TRAVELLERS
A short flight into Tibet give you a panorama of the snowy Himalayan ranges or the days of train ride over the high plateau by crossing mighty Thangu la ranges get you to Lhasa with beautiful sceneries along the route, your arrival at the Gonggar airport or Lhasa Train Station will be greeted by our Tibetan guide and driver and transfer to your hotel in Lhasa city, from the airport to Lhasa it is about 60km and it takes less than an hour through the recently built highway, from the train station it is only 25km and it takes about half hour, check in the hotel and may be meet with other fellow travelers, then take it easy for the rest of the day to acclimatize and alleviate the jet lag. Overnight in Lhasa.
(Note: If you shares the pick-up transportation with other travelers in the group then sometimes you may have to wait at the airport in case their flights delayed)
DAY 02. LHASA ESCORTED TOUR.
Attractions; Potala palace, Jokhang temple and bustling Bakhor street.
Today is the your first day on the high plateau and some of you may have little head ach which is very common for travelers by the high altitude, so drinking enough water and mild activity on the first few days is recommendable. In the morning our guide will meet you at the hotel and take an easy visit to Jokhang Temple in the centre of the Old Lhasa city. Jokhang temple is one of the most scared temple in all over Tibet and it is always bustling with earnest local pilgrims since from early days. After that you have time to walk around the Bakhor street which is the one of the most devotional circuit as well as crowded central market of Lhasa, during the old days it is the most famous local market but now it is changed to tourist gift shopping centre. In the afternoon we will visit the famous Potala Palace, the cardinal landmark of Tibet and the masterpiece of Tibetan architecture, it was first built by 33rd King Songtsen Gangpo in 7th century and later in 17th century rebuilt by 5th Dalai Lama, since then it was home to the Dalai Lama and his government. Walking though the long steps are quite challenging but it is worthwhile to leave your foot steps in the spiritual palace of God of compassion which listed in the world heritage in 1994. Continues acclimatize and alleviate jet lag rest of the day. Overnight in Lhasa.
DAY 03. LHASA ESCORTED TOUR.
Attractions; Drepung monastery and Sera monastery.
Today we will visit Drepung Monastery in the morning, once the world's largest monastery that housed for more than 10,000 monks, it was resident of the Dalai Lama prior to Potala Palace, but several destructions were taken place in different time but still you have lots of things to see by walking through numbers of narrow and twisted lane through the monks apartments is thrilling. The amazing day will ended with a visit to the Sera Monastery, it is built in the fifteenth century by the Jamchen choji Sakya Yeshi who is disciple of Tsongka pa, few different monastic colleges in Sera is home to several hundred monks from different part of Tibet, the famous Buddhist philosophical debates among the monks are happening everyday in the afternoon except Sunday. Continues acclimatize and alleviate jet lag rest of the day. Overnight in Lhasa.
DAY 04. LHASA(3600m) - GYANTSE (3900m) - SHIGATSE(3900m), 350 km, 7hrs.
Attractions; Yamdrok lake, Mt.Nyechen Kangsar glacier, Gyantse Kubum stupa and Pelkhor Choede monastery.
We start drive toward south west, through the zigzag road climb up the Kampa la pass (4700m), from there you will be amazed by the breathtaking glimpse of the holy Yamdrok lake with its turquoise color and snow capped Mt.Nyenchen Khangsar in the distance, then continues drive along the lake for few kilometers get us to the lunch stop at Nagar tse. The rest of the day will be spent enjoying the many magnificent valleys and exquisite Tibetan villages that pass through; en route we will stop at Karo la (5150m) to see the holy mount Nyenchen Kangsar glacier. Arrival at Gyantse, we visit Kumbum stupa and Palkhor Choede monastery, this magnificent multi-door structure is the largest stupa in Tibet, it is not only well known for its architecture but also its old sculptures and paintings all around its inner walls, late afternoon drive to Shigatse which is only 90km. Overnight in Shigatse.
DAY 05. SHIGATSE- LHASA, 280km, 5 hrs.
Attractions; Tashi Lhunpo monastery.
Today we will visit the Tashi Lhunpo monastery in the morning, Tashi Lhunpo monastery one of the largest functioning monastery in the western Tibet which is first built by the 1st Dalai Lama Gedun Drup in 1447 and later became the resident of successive Penchen Lamas. Afternoon drive head back to Lhasa via the northern friendship highway, pass by the numbers of villages along the Brahmaputra river. At your arrival in Lhasa, you have some time to do your gift shopping for your family and friends at home. Overnight in Lhasa.
DAY 06. LHASA AIRPOR/TRAIN STATION SENDS OFF.
Today our guide and driver will send you to the airport or train station and it is time to say your good bye and depart to your next destination. Before your departure, we will appreciate if you can spend a short time to evaluate our services either by filling the feedback form or simply send us an email. If you have extension trips then it will be arranged accordingly.
Important Notes:
1. All the tour costs are for per person (P.P) based on double occupancy, so if you choose the comfortable class hotel then single supplement is compulsory to pay if no one shares the room.
2. Since all the visitors need the original Tibet travel permit to board the flight, so we recommend all the members of the group to take the same flight if you depart from same city, so it is more convenient to receive the permit together and start the trip together, therefore please ask for our advise before you decide your departure city and issue your flight tickets.
Tour Cost Includes:
- All necessary travel permits to Tibet;
- Entrance ticket fees for all the sight spots listed in the itinerary;
- Private transportation in Tibet with experienced local Tibetan driver: Ranging from 4WD land cruiser to minibus depending on the group size (car gasoline is included), See vehicle photos here;
- Private guide: English speaking local Tibetan guide;
- Lodging: 1. Comfortable class hotel: Yak hotel in Lhasa, Manasarovar hotel in Shigatse and local distinguished tent guesthouse at EBC, 2. Budget guesthouse: uses local guesthouses for the whole trip (dormitory);
- Free Pick-up and send-off services at the beginning/end of the tour (No hidden cost);
- Oxygen canisters: 2 canisters for each person;
- Meals: only breakfast is included for the comfortable class (for Budget guesthouse you have to manage your own breakfasts);

- Liability travel insurance;
Tour Cost Excludes:
-Travel insurance covers trip cancellation and emergency evacuation (recommended to buy from your home country before you leave);
- Expenses of a personal nature (alcoholic beverages, laundry, phone call, etc.);
- International and domestic flight/train tickets.(Note: we accept flights and train tickets bookings in advance, please check the updated cost and tickets availability with our travel consultant);
- Meals that are not specified in the itinerary, averagely a meal in Tibet cost around USD5 per person;
- Gratuities for the guide and driver:
Tibet is a country which is totally different from any other places around the world, because of its political sensitivity, rich culture diversity and peculiar geographical formation. Although this means it is not the easiest place to travel, which is also what makes it so special.
In order to make your trip worry free and indisputable, here we have carefully collected all the essential information that will give you a clear image of the trip as well as during your stay in Tibet, this also will be helpful for your trip preparation before you leave, so please read them carefully and make sure you have understood them before you sign up the trip.

As we mentioned above, Tibet is politically very sensitive and any political activities are restrictedly prohibited, so we always advising our clients to keep away from any political conversations or activities that bound against policy of People’s republic of China. Your involvement in such activities would influence the whole group as well as future of all your guides, driver and agency. If any one does, then we have the full right to cancel the trip and we are not responsible for so caused additional costs.

Itinerary Disclaimer
Generally we adhere to the original itinerary that we described but sometimes little alterations can be born due to the situations that are beyond our control. On the other hand, we allowed our clients to make minor changes by discussing with us (office staff) and guide (field staff). The trip detail itinerary is a general guide to the tour and region, and any mention of specific destination or activities is by no means of guarantee that they will be encountered or carried due to the local circumstances and climate.
Single supplement
If you are a single traveler, then normally we will pair your lodging with other single traveler to keep your tour cost at lowest. However single supplement is charged if you want to have a single room on your own or no one shares room with.
Your Fellow Travel Partners
We try to keep the group as small as possible to keep it manageable. As you choose join in tour you will be exposed to all the pleasures and maybe some of the frustrations of travelling in a group. Your fellow travelers will probably come from all corners of the world and are likely to be of a variety of ages too. So patience with your fellow travelers is sometimes required for the benefit of everyone's travel experiences. By remembering some basic responsibilities of being a part of group tour, punctuality is foremost important and ensures that you don't keep the rest of the group waiting. We have found that the wonderful experience can be resulted from mutual understanding and sharing which takes just a little effort from each traveler in the group.

Meals
In order to provide you the maximum flexibility of what, where and when to eat, we generally doesn’t include meals in the tour cost except breakfast included at the hotels, but our local guide will suggest you good restaurant per your requirements. In the cities like Lhasa, Tsedang, Gyantse, Shigatse and Zhangmu you can find good restaurants serve wide range of Tibetan food, continental food, Nepalis food, Indian food and Chinese cuisine, but in Shegar, EBC and in the remote, there is a limited choice for noodles and pan cakes. Approximate cost of a meal in Tibet is USD3 – USD10 per person/meal depending individual requirement.
